Dude - I didn't know you were writing a Hawk The Slayer sequel comic! Badass. (Let's do a feature on Rediscovered Realms when you're ready). Also, cool re-skinned Greek cover for Black Beth. That "Flame and Crimson" book on S&S sounds great - I'm going to look for it right now!
Cheers, J.Q.! It's actually a second sequel, since Garth Ennis and Henry Flint did the first one. We're opening the world out a bit with this. Can't keep him in the woods forever! :D And, while I've got you, thank you SO MUCH for sending such a ridiculous amount of subscribers my way via your recommendation! I don't know what you're doing but it's super-appreciated! And that Flame and Crimson book is great. I wasn't sure I wanted to read yet another chunk about REH, but Murphy comes at it from a fresh angle and asks all the right questions. Has totally got me thinking about how the genre can innovate from here on in. Though I'm pretty sure Howard Andrew Jones wrote something similar in the first issue of New Edge. Always, thanks again, J.Q.!
Cheers, Alec! My pleasure - I'm always happy to recommend quality fantasy reads (like yours) to my subscribers.
I just received the Flame and Crimson and started reading it. VERY well-researched and you can tell Murphy knows his stuff and is a huge S&S fan. Can't wait to read through the whole thing.
Again, congrats on Hawk. Keep me in the loop about where I can help (and so I can buy it!)
